The traffic lights project was made as an experiment in using a 40 picaxe chip.

The circuit runs each set of lights independently and the four blue walk switches can be lit and detected independently.

It is a very good platform for testing how traffic flow is controlled.

It also is amazing how hard it is to make sure that the lights synchronize so that two lines of traffic don't crash.
