The project know as the "Greens" are a Picaxe based program trainer board where each pupil has to start by making the light work like a simple traffic control signal, sequencing the lights correctly.

In the UK that is.

Once they have achieved that the second set must then be coordinated with the first and finally the stop and walk should respond to one of the button presses.

Once pupils have achieved this they find moving on to the Berts a breeze.
